Socialist Dependant Trampoline Bear DiesSocialist Dependant Trampoline Bear Dies Quote: Bears are by nature 99 percenters. They are not rich, they grab what they can where they can and they just want to get along and raise their bear families. Occasionally misfortune befalls them and a safety net is needed - as happened to our Boulder, Colorado bear, who found himself disadvantaged and stranded in a tree. Fortunately, the state had its safety net, in the form of a trampoline, standing by. When our Boulder bear finally gave up on life and dropped from the tree, he was saved by the government trampoline, albeit with a few bumps and...

Firefox Sync QI have been trying to use this for my PC<->Desktop... however I noticed if I use the 'merge sync data with this computer's data' option then when I sync again, all the bookmarks I had deleted are going to be there again, because they were still on the old PC. Am I supposed to choose 'replace all PCs with this PC as the sync data' on both devices?

92-Year-Old DVD Bootlegger is a Hero to U.S. SoldiersQuote: Hyman Strachman says he has sent 300,000 pirated DVDs to U.S. troops overseas. Go ahead and complain about that, Hollywood. When you think of the guys who sell pirated videos, you might conjure up an image of men with long coats and briefcases filled with illegal goods, peddling their wares on dark streets or from the trunks of their cars. But you haven’t met 92-year-old Hyman “Big Hy” Strachman.“You’re shocked because your initial image is of some back-alley Eastern European bootlegger — not an old Jewish guy on Long Island,” Captain Bryan Curran, who recently returned from...

Marine Discharged for Criticizing Obama on FacebookQuote: Sgt. Gary Stein, the 26-year-old Marine who learned Wednesday he would be discharged for his online comments criticizing President Barack Obama, wishes he could take it back. “People ask me, ‘Would you go back and change those words?’ I would most definitely,” Stein told msnbc.com. “I would articulate my point better.” On March 1, Stein wrote on a closed forum for active-duty meteorologists and oceanographers that he would say "Screw Obama" and not follow all orders from him, according to Courthouse News. “Obama is the economic enemy,” he wrote in the post. “He is the religious enemy .....

Lost Parakeet Tells Police its AddressQuote: A pet parakeet was returned to its owner Wednesday after the lost bird told police its home address near Tokyo. The male bird had escaped early Sunday morning from its owner’s home in the city of Sagamihara, west of Tokyo, and remained at large before perching on the shoulder of a guest staying in a nearby hotel. Handed over to local police, the bird did not speak until Tuesday evening, when it blurted out the names of the city and district where its owner’s house is located, said a spokesman for the north Sagamihara police station. It then produced the home’s block and street number as...

Where are XGL Updates ??? SOLVEDOk so after wondering for a week or so why there is no XGL updates, I ventured over to the HOWTO XGL page and accidently find out that there is a new overlay system "layman", that has NOT been mentioned in the forum. So i setup the "layman" structure and do an update and low and behold it is OLD XGL, xgl-coffee rev 152 and portage-xgl rev 182. So my question is. Does anyone know of an ebuild to get the latest XGL with Quinns patches? EDIT: coffee overlay is now updated _________________ Core i7 920 D0 | Asus P6T DLX | Patriot Viper 1600 6GB | Antec Quattro 850W Geforce 8800GTX OC2 768MB | Dell...

A revision of timekeepingHi there, Since I know how to read the time, I've been wondering why we divide the day into 24 hours of 60 minutes of 60 seconds (although americans and british may find this unusually convenient). Well, this is because our timekeeping system is several thousand years old and was inherited by the babylonians, who used a base 60 (sexagesimal) number system, although they didn't really use radix points or zeroes yet. Although the number 60 is highly divisible, in our decimal-thinking world it's a pain in the ass and having 24 instead of 60 hours makes this system even in base 60 inconvenient for...

What is Time?I'm reading an old science fiction book entitled "The girl in the golden Atom", and the author has a character define time as "what keeps everything from happening all at once". So what is time anyway? Please don't use time to define itself (e.g., "past", "present", "future", "sequence", "events", "duration", "velocity", and other concepts which themselves can only be defined in terms of time). _________________ ichbinsisyphos wrote: You know, personally I've never been the greatest fan of Negroes
