New E-Mail Password, Thunderbird Hangs

I looked at this thread before deciding to post. I thought that OP's method was a bit too draconian I am having the exact same problem - new e-mail password, Thunderbird recognizes that, but does not recover so I can enter my new password. I have done the following: 1. Tried Safe Mode. No joy. 2. Forced Thunderbird to close. 3. Rebooted (yeah, I'm running Windows 7). 4. Found and inspected my profile. Dock Icon weirdness

Looking over in the Dock I have the blue SM icon, round and normal. If I get an email it turns into a generic OS X app icon with the little message counter superimposed on it. Been that way for a while, I keep thinking that an upgrade will normalise it, but it hasn't.

Nvidia drivers problem

Hi! I'm trying to fix an issue for veryl ong time but without success. I would be very thnakfully for any help with my problem. I'm using funtoo with standard kernel (sysrescue-std) build with genkernel. I've installed nvidia-drivers (295.40) and everything seems to emerge good. I have exactly the same system configuration on my laptop and on my desktop computer. Webkit-gtk took so long to compile?

Well I don't know if this is normal or not but it struck me how come a package only 7MB in size took over 3 hours to compile. My computer can compile larger package (in size) in a more timely manner. Firefox worth 70MB of download but took only 1 hour to compile. Does webkit-gtk took that long for you guys as well? May be you guys could take a look at my emerge --info to notice if there is anything wrong? Default html email compose font & pt size

I was wondering if anybody can provide me with an answer. I have been looking all over the web and haven't found what I am looking for. I would like to default the html email composition font and size to something like Verdanna 10.0pt. The normal Thunderbird way of Tools, Compose, etc. does not allow the font size to be specified in point size. Acquired new laptop (P200 w/ 32mb RAM) - HELP

Want to put gentoo on it... it has a cd-rom drive that it can boot from and it has a floppy drive as well. doesnt have a nic though. might have to find a pcmcia nic for it, i dunno. anyone know of any that work with linux (not wireless) and on a piece of hardware this old? my main concern is the 32mb of ram and the 2gb hard drive. if i put gentoo on it, the install will take a good gig and a half. from my experiences, that's usually what i have after installing xfree and a gui (*box guis, nothing heavy). how can i avoid this? i'd like to run a cli only box, but i'd like a gui for simple...

X3 and expansions: No love for Teladi?

I've tried playing a limited race game as the Teladi recently, but I'd just about hit 14 hours when I struck a blank. Don't get me wrong, I like the Teladi. Their ships look like they've been built for spacefaring, and I love the sheer amount of trade opportunities in their space. But something gets me: They're crap. Automatic standby / hibernate script

Hi all, One of the things that I somehow found it lacking for a long time in gentoo is automatic standby on some timeout. I know you can get this in gnome power manager or so, but I don't use a full blown DE, just WM. You need actmon ( ... ). M7 (AP) Question about marines...

I can not launch marines from my M7 in AP. Is this normal? Have tried Astreaus Hauler and Aegir. Can carry marines but no launching. Despite having Fight I and II software my accessory ship commands are limited and do not include "Launch all marines" command. Big surprise and doesn't seem right... Thanks

All newsgroup messages are blank

Some time in the last couple of days, my NNTP newsgroup messages are blanked out. I have the normal header list, but when I click on a message to view it, nothing is displayed in the text body pane. (nothing at all). Running TB 12.0.1 on Fedora Core 16 x86_64 with all patches current. Running Leafnode as the news server on the same machine. When I inspect the messages in /var/spool/news/... they are normal. I tried unsubscribing from one group, then resubscribing to it, but all that did was clear out all of the header lines as well.
