Postscript scaling and translationI have a document I'd like to print, it's in ps format. The author left far too much white space around text therefore I want to get rid of the white space and print 2 pages per sheet with human readable font size. I managed to scale the pages to the right size but the white space is scaled too, resulting in a conspicuous part of the text going out of the page when I open the ps file with kpdf (which cuts at A4 size). Does anyone know a program like psresize to translate ps files and center them?

Where are XGL Updates ??? SOLVEDOk so after wondering for a week or so why there is no XGL updates, I ventured over to the HOWTO XGL page and accidently find out that there is a new overlay system "layman", that has NOT been mentioned in the forum. So i setup the "layman" structure and do an update and low and behold it is OLD XGL, xgl-coffee rev 152 and portage-xgl rev 182. So my question is. Does anyone know of an ebuild to get the latest XGL with Quinns patches? Sometimes the hand cursor icon does not appear?When mousing over links in Firefox, the arrow cursor icon changes to a hand icon, at least on my Mac. Since FF12 or FF11 or so, meaning recently, mousing over links sometimes does not change the cursor correctly. To fix this, I move the cursor outside of the Firefox window and then back again, and it's fixed. Anyone know what's causing this? Could it perhaps be a plugin like Flash, since I think that that might be known to cause some cursor issues sometimes? (Even though the current tab doesn't have Flash, I'm thinking that another tab I have open could have Flash open and therefore still...

Not receiving ACPI events in newer kernels - UNSOLVEDI decided to edit my post to make the description more clear. I'm having problems getting my system to detect ACPI events with newer kernels. Currently I'm running 2.6.36-tuxonice, and everything works fine. I have tried previously to upgrade to 2.6.39, 3.0.3, and just this past weekend 3.2.1, and for each of these my system no longer receives uevents for the ac adapter, battery, laptop lid, and the function keys that control brightness.
