Ok, to begin with, this is my first post so forgive me if a lot of stuff has been answered before, also I am a newish player so forgive me if i ask simple things or do not fully understand. Hmmm who's scheming who

One thing about this Terran race recognition is very sneaky & somewhat confusing & perplexing. Right now I have about 9 percent in the Terran RR & 76 percent in the ATF. Now can someone here tell me what to do to get these RR higher. Do I have to wage war on the Commonwealth races? Therefore lowering my RR with them? Buy fighter craft from the other races and sell them in the Terran shipyards? What must I do I am very confused & stagnated!

White line under the address bar, how to get rid of it?

Lately my browser has been showing a white line under the address bar, ... It's a lot more vivid in real life than in that screen cap. Not sure how long ago it started. Also, when I scroll down to the bottom of the screen an even fatter white line appears at the bottom of the window above the add-on bar, ... ... teline.png but that one doesn't show unless the scrollbars are there and I scroll down to the bottom. (the second screencap is a shot of the first image displayed on the page at ImageShack if it looks confusing). How can I get rid of these lines?

Freezing, have to Kill. [Linux]

Firefox 12.0 with Kubuntu Maverick... I'm running into frequent freezes and I'm not sure what the problem is. I've often had to use Alt-F2 and "kill process" to stop Firefox and allow other applications to run. I tried Konqueror, and on one of the problem pages got this message: Executable: nspluginviewer PID: 12693 Signal: 4 (Illegal instruction) Does that suggest anything? I have a Shockwave flashplayer and an Adobe flashplayer (11.something) installed. Sorry if this sounds confused... that's because I AM confused about it.

Confused by new searching methods

Hate to admit it, but the recent changes to searching seem to escape me. The old way let us enter a term, search and, if we wanted to search any of sender, subject, text, etc., we could click a button and the search was narrowed according to the choice made. That seemed simple and productive. Mozilla made major changes with the new capability of opening tabs. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but not intuitive, at least to me, so I just started working around them rather than to learn how to use them. My bad? Why does a copy of every filtered email appear in the trash?

Hello, and thank you in advance for your assistance. I use IMAP with AOL (it's an old address that I don't want to change) on Thunderbird 12.0.1. I have many filters in place, which filter my incoming mail into about 20 different subfolders. The problem is that a copy of every filtered mail ALSO appears in the trash. This often creates confusion. So, my question is two-fold: 1. Why is this happening? 2. How do I stop it? My goal is to have incoming mail hit my "inbox" and then get filtered to the appropriate folders, WITHOUT also leaving a copy of each filtered email in the trash.

Firefox + openoffice + firefox useflag [FIXED]

I have the following going on: * I have the firefox useflag set. More out of principle than anything, since I'm not sure what it actually does. * I also use openoffice, which uses the firefox useflag, pulling in firefox as a dependency. * I want to use mozilla-firefox-bin, to make flash work, among other reasons. But mozilla-firefox-bin isn't enough for openoffice. It tries to pull in mozilla-firefox (non-bin). I don't want to have both installed. They get each other confused sometimes. And the way I read it, openoffice should be content with either. But it still tries to pull non-bin firefox...
