Amazon flash player issueWhile I'm sure this is an issue with amazon and not gentoo or flash player I was wondering if anyone knew how to resolve it. Amazon instant videos always tries and fails to update my flash player, thus making it impossible to watch movies from amazon on linux. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? I have a fresh install of amd64(x86_64) and am using firefox-bin from portage (9.1) I have tried both independently install flash player and the portage flash-player (from adobe). Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yuku forumsSince the upgrade to ff 10.2 it appears that I cannot access any yuku hosted forum whatsoever. For example this one: ... ... ost-trains All I get is a white page. I have tried disabling all add ons. No joy. The problem is not my ISP or firewall either, as I can access any yuku hosted forums using Opera and Internet Explorer browsers. I can access the yuku front page but that is all. Is anyone else having the same problems with firefox 10,2 not loading ANY yuku hosted forums at all? Thanks in advance. C

Firefox xml parser not loading large xml filesHi, I have an xml file which contains 500 elements and is of 1.2 MB size. Firefox is not able to parse it correctly. It throws parse error at random locations. Chrome/Opera is able to load it correctly. I am also facing a similar issue wrt to Json view addon loading large JSON content. When Json view tries to parse it FIrefox is not done with loading the response form the web server. Anyone else facing similar issues?

Thunderbird freezingI am running Thunderbird 2.0.0.9 on an Intel dual core machine running Vista but recently I have experienced problems with Thunderbird frequently freezing for several seconds - after a few mouse clicks it says it is not responding and then it will come back again. The freezing seems to appear at any time - on mail menu, when reading mails and when composing mails etc. Sometimes when composing text input while it is not responding will eventauuly appear, sometimes it is lost I have tried reloading Thunderbird - new load works fine for a day or two and then the problems reappear HAs anyone else...

Asus Xonar D2/PM (AV200)Having trouble with this card. When it DOES work, the center channel (center+sub, actually) does not work and neither do the surround speakers even though I've set them up in ~/.asoundrc. When it DOES NOT work, all I get is ALSA/Pulse trying to pipe all sounds through my PC speaker. So far, nothing is working. I've read every tutorial I could find and it hasn't helped. I have all of the virtuoso drivers installed and the kernel IS configured to work with this card. I can get it to work, but only in stereo. So... if anyone can help me to get it working in 5.1 and maybe even recommend a good...

How to stop pirating (for anime at least)Have 1 or 2 people sub the episode in English before release. Then, release a web stream of the episode for 24 hours on the broadcast date. Have commercials based on the users region. (Business will pay for their commercials based on region: US, EU, etc...) After 24 hours, the stream is then locked for a month so that only premium accounts can watch it based on a subscription. After one month the episode is then unlocked for all users. FF 10 Certain Shortcuts Not Working + Roboform HotkeysSince updating to FF 10, my ctrl+R shortcut to reload a page has ceased to function. Drag and drop bookmarking. Why was this removed?I don't know about anyone else, but I HATE when a product update removes features (Windows Vista removing the keyboard shortcut to shutdown comes to mind. RAGE) Now in Firefox 10, I no longer have the ability to drag my tabs over to the menu to bookmark them. This was nice, because of its speed and because I could precisely position the new bookmark amongst my others exactly how I wanted.
