Help needed for Surfing TE's

Last month I purchased a new computer...a Mac. I've always used a PC but decided to make a change. I find myself struggling to adjust to the difference and need some help. I do a lot of surfing the TE's but this new system is cumbersome. Does SM have a Traffic Bar?? Any suggestions would be appreciated...perhaps easier in Safari?? Another thing...how do I deactivate the "collected addresses" in the Address Book? Where do I find "Preferences"? I'm not a techie so need help. Thanks lestar

Firefox logs me out of forum

I'm using FF 10 with Windows XP. Since the latest upgrade 2 days ago, a forum I visit often during the day keeps logging me out whenever I leave it to use another program. The tab stays open, but when I come back and click to refresh, I'm logged out and have to log in again. This forum has been working perfectly for years. I looked at support documentation which said to make sure cookies are enabled on that site. They are, and that site's cookies are there. So I'm at a loss. This problem doesn't happen in IE, but I don't want to use IE.

EDIT: Mplayer2 can play it. Should I switch to that completely? Cannot send emails-"assembling mail information"

When attempting to send emails, I get a "Sent Error Message" saying "Sending of message failed. Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct and try again." Also after an email has been sitting open for a few minutes I get a similar message saying that it is unable to save as a draft and to check the same settings. We have already tried checking all settings recommended when troubleshooting, and now even opened a new account, but I am still having the exact same problem with not being able to send. Synchronization problem

I am pulling my Yahoo email into Thunderbird via IMAP (POP3 wouldn't work, kept telling me my email address was invalid, which it clearly wasn't). It was suggested I use IMAP instead, and that worked great. Except now I have another problem. So... now I have all my e-mail... BUT. I don't want to use my Yahoo account for e-mail any more, so therefore, I want to delete it out of my WEBmail. The problem is, as soon as I delete files on the web, Thunderbird dumps them in the trash! Immediately. I don't even have to click "Get Mail" or anything. Very frustrating. I'm not really familiar with IMAP...

(Another) Plugin Container For Firefox Issue

I know there have been many threads on this but I wasn't able to find an answer as they were for older versions of FF It seems that from FF 9 and up, that this plugin has done nothing but constantly crash.
